 Course Summary: Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
This ICT course is designed to provide learners with both foundational competencies and specialized technical skills needed in today’s digital world. It begins with basic units such as communication, numeracy, digital literacy, entrepreneurship, employability, environmental literacy, and occupational safety. Learners then progress to common competencies like basic electronics, before advancing into core ICT areas including computer networking, software installation, ICT security, system support, website design, computer repair, database management, information systems, graphic design, programming, mobile application development, and system analysis and design.
The program emphasizes hands-on practice, problem-solving, and industry alignment, ensuring graduates are prepared for employment, entrepreneurship, or further study in ICT.

Objectives:
•     Build strong foundational and employability skills.

Grading:
Learners are assessed through participation, assignments, practical exercises, midterm and final exams, and project work. A minimum of 50% is required to pass, with distinction awarded at 75% and above.
